Dr. Stefan Helka
Dr. Stefan Helka, a graduate of WWU Münster, is an experienced dentist and oral surgeon. After studying dentistry, which he completed in 2008, he completed further training in oral surgery with Dr. J. Vosshans in Telgte. Dr. Helka gained extensive experience as a dentist in the Monika Tymann-Helka practice in Herne and in the oral and maxillofacial surgery department at the St. Lukas Clinic in Solingen.
His professional expertise was underlined by obtaining his DVT certification in 2009 and his doctorate in 2014. In 2014 he was appointed a specialist in oral surgery. In the same year he opened his own practice and further specialized in Implantology and periodontology through BDO/DGMKG curricula.
Dr. Helka founded that Herne implant center and Denta 1 Media GmbH to pass on his expertise. With the opening of another location in Plettenberg and the construction of the Denta1 Clinic in Herne, he expanded his commitment to dental care. His journey demonstrates continuous professional development and a strong commitment to dentistry.
Dr. Tonia Kniffler
Dr. Tonia Kniffler is an aspiring dentist whose career is characterized by a deep passion for dentistry and patient-centered care. Her professional path began in 2014 with training as a dental technician, through which she gained valuable practical experience in the dental craft.
Her dental studies, which she completed from 2015 to 2020, combined Dr. Kniffler skillfully worked in the oral surgery outpatient clinic. This unique combination of theoretical knowledge and practical experience enabled her to develop a comprehensive understanding of the complex aspects of dentistry.
After successfully completing her studies, crowned with a doctorate and license to practice medicine in 2020, Dr. Kniffler completed her assistantship, during which she further deepened her skills. In 2022, she completed a curriculum in implantology, further expanding her expertise specifically in this challenging area of dentistry.
Dr. Kniffler's continued education and commitment to the practice of dentistry reflect her desire to remain at the forefront of dental care and treatment. Her combination of technical know-how and clinical expertise positions her as a promising force in the world of dentistry.
Christian Wessel
Christian Wessel is a competent and committed dentist whose professional career began in 2017 with his license to practice medicine at the Hannover Medical School. After reaching this important milestone, he initially devoted himself to a two-year residency, during which he gained valuable practical experience and further developed his dental skills.
In 2019, Christian Wessel decided to pursue specialized training in the field of implantology, an increasingly important field of modern dentistry. He completed the implantology curriculum in cooperation with the ICOI Europe (International Congress of Oral Implantologists), which underlines his professional expertise in this area.
He has been working as an employed dentist since March 2020, continuously applying and deepening his skills and knowledge in practice. In February 2022, Christian Wessel joined the Team at the Herne Implant Center, where he continues to apply and develop his specialization in implantology.
